Man wanted in armed robbery of Shell gas station

The NOPD is looking to identify and locate a man for his involvement in an armed robbery of a Shell gas station (via NOPD).

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man involved in the armed robbery of a Shell gas station on Saturday.

At around 4:38 a.m., an unknown white male was seen entering the store in the 4700 block of Canal Street. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes from the cashier. The suspect was then seen fleeing on foot toward North St. Patrick street and then toward Iberville, police said.

A second subject was seen on surveillance video, and police believe the second subject may have valuable information but he is not wanted regarding this incident.

The suspect in this incident was seen wearing all black clothing, a black bandana around his face and a black ‘USA’ baseball cap.
