Santa hats, sexy elf outfits and ugly sweaters populated Mid-City bars Wednesday night as local watering holes celebrated the holiday season costume-style.

Holiday cheer flowed at both Pal’s Lounge, located on 949 North Rendon Street, and Finn McCool’s Irish Pub on 3701 Banks Street, as patrons enjoyed contests, Christmas music and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.
