Two neighborhood associations, Mid-City Neighborhood Organization and Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association, hold their monthly meetings tonight (Monday, Jan. 14).
The Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association’s executive board will meet tonight at 7 p.m in the cafeteria at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, 1368 Moss Street. Among the agenda items are the creation of a cultural district for the neighborhood, a community garden at North Dupre and St. Philip, a discussion of how to handle land-use issues outside the neighborhood boundaries and a discussion with a representative from U.S. Rep. Cedric Richmond’s office.
